Lauren + Sandra

Where do I even start with these two? My journey with Lauren + Sandra started in October of 2018 when I met them at my local Starbucks to chat about whether or not I might be a good fit for their wedding. We hit it off right away and were both super pumped to continue this journey together.

Fast forward two years and I have now shot with them three times (lucky me!!). We did their engagement photos in Yorkville, I shot their wedding at One King West last summer, then this year on their first anniversary they hired me to capture their love once again (which is the shoot that is featured here). Amidst a crazy year, they got a room at One King West to celebrate one year of marriage, this time with their sweet little pup name Adore. (side note…always bring your dog to your shoot…always). OKW looked a little different this year with masked people everywhere and more hand sanitizer than you could count, but they certainly made lemonade with the situation they were given.

They spoke about making this yearly photoshoot a tradition. As happy as it makes me to get to hang out with them every year, it also made me want to implement this practice into my own life. How cool would it be to look back on years and years of anniversary photos and see how your love has evolved? Sign me up.
