The Hildebrands

This is William, and you know what’s awesome? We have now shot together 5 times (if you include the time he was still in his Mom’s tummy). This little shoot was to capture William at 18 months. Now that I have my own little one I really understand how fast the time flies and how important it is to capture every little milestone along the way.

William’s dad, Tyler, and my husband went to high school together. They go waaaaay back…and he and his wife Laura have become very dear friends of mine 🙂 It was a pretty awesome day because I got to bring along Adam, Maisy and Rusty (my pup!). If you scroll down far enough there’s a photo of William and Maisy meeting for the first time, future besties I think! The whole fam-damily came and we got to catch up while I chased their toddler around. 

William is such a sweet little boy and his hair is totally epic. What I love about capturing toddlers is that you can’t plan what you’re going to do! It’s not like you can say, “Okay, now stand and smile next to your mom!”… They are most likely going to run around for 2 hours and you have to chase them to get those perfect shots. It’s great exercise, SO much fun and good practice for when Maisy starts to move around. 

We took photos on the path that Willam and his parents go for walks on every day, I always love finding locations that are meaningful. I can’t help but think about how cool it is that he and Maisy are going to grow up together as buddies. Forever grateful for these opportunities to capture moments for people I love. Keep ’em coming!
