A Bit About Me

Sam, here! Mom, wife, singer of songs in the shower and lover of family and friends. I count myself pretty darn fortunate to have fallen into photography 12 years ago. I like to think that the universe gifted me this opportunity and I ran with it…I haven’t looked back since! I love what I do. I adore capturing moments for people. But more than anything, I love getting to know the insanely amazing folks that I have the great pleasure to meet and connect with during our little journey together.

I love helping to capture your story through my lens. But it’s really all about bringing who you are inside, out, and helping you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself. I love that every day is a surprise, that I’m always learning and being challenged, all the while having this awesome gift of a job that simply allows me to develop these amazing new relationships. I couldn’t be more grateful! And I can’t wait to meet you…

SOME FUN FACTS

My greatest accomplishment in life are my beautiful children, Maisy and Charlie. My girl is our ‘Miraculous Maisy’ and she is the strongest, most incredible little human I’ve ever met. In true Aries fashion, she’s already proven to be a fiery warrior. Strong. Brave. She has taught me more about resilience than I ever thought possible. Charlie is a bundle of wild, joyous energy and has brought a wonderful sense of play to our family. Watching him turn into a little boy brings us endless pride. Love my babies.

I spent my formative years singing, dancing and acting up a storm on stage. Musicals were my jam for the longest time, and I’ve been known to hum a showtune (or twenty) every now and then. But the universe dropped photography into my lap. And who’s to deny that gift?!

My pup Rusty is always smiling, and he gives us way too many kisses when we crawl into bed at night. Suffice it to say, he’s made my heart grow 12 sizes. Who knew a gorgeous animal had that power? Be prepared to have a cuddly dog at your feet when shooting at my home studio, he’ll make you feel right at ease!

Being a photographer allows me to collaborate with amazing souls and share their vision, so I can help them discover and expose the perfect, truest version of themselves on camera.
