From the moment I first spoke with this incredible couple, I knew I had to work with them. This beautiful couple lives in Alberta, and they had planned to tie the knot back home in Ontario. Plans changed and they eventually decided to have their wedding back in Alberta, and we shifted our focus to making their engagement session happen during their summer visit to Ontario.

Then, it hit me… I was already headed to Alberta in August for a friend’s wedding! I couldn’t help but suggest doing the shoot there instead. The idea of capturing their love in the landscapes of Alberta was too exciting to pass up. Don’t get me wrong, Ontario has its charm, but the thought of fresh scenery is inspiring from my creative perspective. The couple was just as thrilled about the idea as I was, and we quickly booked our shoot in Canmore, Alberta.

Let me tell you, it was absolutely magical. We spent our time exploring the rivers and wandering over mountains and hills. Then, the sky turned amazing shades giving us the perfect wrap-up with a stunning sunset!

The photos perfectly capture the essence of this couple’s relationship and they’re something I’m proud of so I’m very excited to share this shoot with you all!
