Sam & Sarah

Back in high school, Sam and I became fast friends, and fast forward to 2021, we reconnected at a friend’s wedding in Oklahoma. It was there that he mentioned his plan to propose to Sarah in Italy, and as someone who finds inspiration in capturing moments in different landscapes, I immediately told him I’d love to photograph their special moment!

And that’s how I ended up in Ravello on the stunning Amalfi Coast, lucky enough to capture their proposal! I’ll never forget that moment—being in the most breathtaking place in the world, in incognito mode, waiting for Sam and Sarah to arrive and for him to get down on one knee… absolutely exhilarating!

Being grateful to have experienced a shoot in such an extraordinary place only deepened my desire to return and photograph in Europe. And this trip? It was just the beginning. I’m thrilled to share that I’m currently in Greece, photographing a wedding I can’t wait to show you!
